Good Evening 8th Grade Families! Our team is excited to host our high school placement workshop this Thursday, January 25th from 4:15-5pm. We encourage you to join us regardless of where you are on your next steps journey. Our workshop will cover topics such as the different high school options, the MSCS Optional Schools application process (which goes live next week), and other helpful resources and support. We are back!!! School will re-open tomorrow, Tuesday, January 23, as the building is prepped and ready for learning. Water fountains will be off, but there will be bottled water for scholars. We also recommend sending your scholar with a pre-filled water bottle for use throughout the day and at lunch. See everyone tomorrow morning when doors open at 7:45! Can't wait to get back to learning!
Due to the ongoing winter weather and the conditions caused by the boil water advisory, Veritas will be closed Monday, January 22. We will continue to monitor the situation and communicate the status of Tuesday's classes as soon as possible.

Attention Lion Family! It is Thursday, so that means the first scholar paycheck for Quarter 3 will be coming home today. Please be sure to review, sign, and have your scholar return their paycheck to homeroom teachers tomorrow. Additionally, report Card Conferences are next Wednesday, January 17th from 2:30 - 7:15pm. Visit our website (veritascollegeprep.org) TODAY for a 15-minute appointment to meet with your scholar's teachers and receive important information. Conferences are required for ALL scholars.
Just a reminder that Veritas scholars are back in school tomorrow, Monday, January 8th for the start of the 2nd semester. Regular school hours (doors open at 7:45) and scholars should be in full scholar uniform. See you Monday!
