8th Grade Families: This is a reminder that our 8th-grade college tour to LeMoyne-Owen College is happening this Friday, September 27, 2024! IMPORTANT REMINDER: Scholars should bring $6.75 for lunch as we will be eating in the college dining hall. Here are more important details for the trip: When: Friday, September 27, 2024 Time: 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM ****Scholars must wear their full VCP uniform to represent our school with pride. Scholars who have earned a dress-down pass for this Friday will be able to use it after Fall Break instead. (Spirit week is next week, and all will be able to dress down!) Additionally, scholars will not be allowed take their phones on this trip. Scholars will take pictures on chaperon phones! If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Bachelor at (901) 526-1900.

VCP Parents - This afternoon, scholars are bringing home login information for our new platform, Rooms. Rooms is a new tool that will keep you up to date with your scholar's classes and allow for communication with their teachers. And the best part is that it lives right here in the Veritas app! Check your scholar's homework folder and your email for more info.

Happy Thursday, VCP Family! Today your scholar received their first VCP Paycheck for the 2024-2025 school year. Your scholar's paycheck needs to be reviewed, signed (on the top of the front page) and returned tomorrow morning to their homeroom teacher. The VCP paycheck is an overview of all of scholar attendance, homework completion, merits, demerits, and grades. Scholars will be able to view how many scholar dollars that they have earned for the week and any school announcements.

This is just a friendly reminder that SummerBridge begins tomorrow. This message confirms your scholar's registration and spot in the program. Doors open at 8:00am and pickup is at 2:00pm.
