Lion Family - This is just a friendly reminder that tomorrow is our Lion Legacy Awards to celebrate the accomplishments of our scholars for the 2025 - 2026 school year. The program starts at 9am and family is invited to attend. Scholars and families should dress to impress for the red carpet.

Additionally, don't forget that tomorrow is a 12pm dismissal!

SummerBridge will take place from June 1-26. We will off on June 19th in observance of Juneteenth.

Veritas families, Due to Shelby County Schools decision, Veritas College Prep and Memphis College Prep will be closed Wednesday, February 4. We hope to be back soon please stay safe and warm

Veritas Families, Out of abundance of caution due to poor road conditions, classes are canceled for Tuesday, February 3. We truly hope to be back in session on Wednesday. Stay safe and stay warm.

Veritas families, Due to hazardous conditions there will be no school tomorrow, Monday, February 2 for Veritas College Prep and Memphis College Prep. We hope to be able to return on Tuesday. Stay safe and stay warm!

Veritas- Due to the ongoing hazardous conditions Veritas has canceled classes for Thursday, January 29 and Friday, January 30. School will resume on Monday, February 2 with a regular schedule. Please stay safe and warm, and we will see you next Monday!

8th grade Families, The Optional Schools application has been postponed until Tuesday, February 3. We will still be hosting clinics at the school that day to help you complete the application if you would like. More details to come.

Good evening VCP- Reminder that scholars return to a school on Tuesday, January 6. There is no school tomorrow Monday, January 5 due to teacher professional development. Can't wait to see everyone Tuesday morning!

VCP Families & Alumni - Join us tomorrow, Thursday, December 18 for "Snow Much To Celebrate - 15 Years of Grit, Grind, and Graduates." The party starts at 5:30 PM at VCP (1500 Dunn Ave), and no RSVP is needed. Hope to see you there!

The building is nice & warm, and classrooms are ready for learning. Can't wait to see everyone in a few minutes for the start of classes!

Veritas Families - Due to issues with the school heating system, there will be no school Wednesday, November 12. We plan on being back in session on Thursday, 11/13.

Good morning! Thank you to all of the parents that joined us for conferences yesterday. If you missed your conference, Ms. Mackey will be available today to meet with you today after 8:15am or after school from 4:00-5:00pm.
